The feel of Bridal Makeup

Working like a professional makeup artist for more than ten years, focusing on bridal makeup, I've come across and done from classic bridal makeup to renaissance themed makeup for weddings. Just like the latest fashions appear and disappear, the same is true the feel of Bridal Makeup. The days are gone of colorful lips, heavy eye shadows and layers of foundation. Today's Bride wants that natural radiant glow saying 'Blushing Bride'. Skin need to look fresh and natural having a flawless finish. Whether it's dewy or matte the building blocks should blend seamlessly using the neck and chest. Most Brides are requesting foundations which are mineral based; which allow the skin breathe plus they photograph beautifully.

The biggest trend in bridal makeup in the last couple of years would be that the eyes would be the focus from the face. Soft pink, taupe and cool gray shadows with smudged eyeliner look stunning. Applying several coats of mascara plus some false lashes would be the finishing touches needed to make your eyes really "pop". Keeping the makeup soft and fresh may be the approach to take for any daytime wedding. For a night wedding your eyes might have deeper colors and much more dimensions, but nonetheless the makeup shouldn't remove in the eyes themselves. Using the eyes being the main objective, cheeks ought to be glowing inside a soft pink or perhaps a subtle bronzer, specifically for beach weddings. Lips are muted colors of pink, nude and rose and tinted glosses are extremely common as well.

No appear look you select for the big day, one essential aspect I cannot stress enough would be to keep the look timeless. The very last thing you would like will be taking a look at the wedding album in 3 decades and want to yourself, "I can't believe I wore that blue eyeshadow".
